1980 Ford Escort 1600 Sport. This is a RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. We have the NOVA confirmation and its fully UK registered. We have the V5 here The car does start and run but really needs pulled apart and restored properly.

Body - Export spec sport shell with similar strengthening to our RS models at the front. Original inner wings, strut tops, good chassis rails, Has had repair in both boot wells and both front floors which are awful and will need redone. Front crossmember under radiator will need repaired or replaced. Rear wheel arches are good. Both door bottoms look to have been repaired as does the bottom the of the heater bubble / top bulkhead area. Underbonnet looks like the paint has been applied with a toffee apple. Rest of the paintwork is passable from 40ft but if you wanted a minter start again. Slam panel also looks to have been messed with on passenger side where it meets the inner wings.Good quarter bumpers, front spoiler,

Mechanics - Original style crossflow engine and 4 speed box. All standard running gear. The car will need going through from front to back. Expect to have to replace / repair quite a bit

Interior - Original seats which are scruffy, but rare in black. Door cards have speaker holes. Dash top has been recovered and its not quite right. Again everything in here will need refurbished or replaced

Wheels - Original sport steels with 175 70 13 tyres.
