1987 Ford Capri 280 Brooklands with only 41000 miles from new. This car was used in England from 1987 til 1996, when it had 30,000 miles on it. It was then sold to Northern Ireland and remained there until 2016 when it came back to England. During its time in Northern Ireland it had the reg plates BCZ80 and DGZ4967. Its not back on its original plate which is D251 CFL.

We have the original handbooks, all the old MOTs going back to 1990 which verify the mileage. Copy of the NI logbook as well and some receipts for work done over the years. We do not have a service book. The car has only covered 11000 miles in the last 30 years and has been well looked after. Its avery original car. You will find cars that are more detailed underneath / restored but their cant be many left which are as original.

Body - Very clean and straight. Looks like all original panels. Wings are definitely original, as are the strut tops, arches, sills and so on. No signs of ever being welded. Really good original genuine shell. Still the original matt finish under the bonnet. You will get shinier more detailed cars underneath, but they are only original once!. Paintwork is very nice. It has had a little bit paint rectification over the years but in the main original.

Mechanics - All completely standard. Starts runs and drives very well. It will come with a years MOT for the new owner. Engine is quiet, brakes clutch and gearbox are all spot on. Front calipers lok fairly recent, replacement temperature sender fitted.

Interior - Again all standard and as it should be. All gauges work. Seats are good with only minor wear on drivers bolster. No rips or tears. Minor crack on dashtop across speaker perforations. Original radio still fitted. Heater fan works on both speeds. sunrood tilts but only wants to slid back partially. ive not tried to force it.

Wheels - Recently fully refurbished original wheels with new tyres.
